Mouse middle click problems

Since moving to Fedora 9 the middle click emulation has not worked the same. The bottom two mousepad buttons can be clicked together to give a middleclick, but not the top two.

Who wants to bet I'm going to need xmodmap? http://www.xfree86.org/4.2.0/xmodmap.1.html

The kernel seems to think I have 4 mice.
